Hang on Kitty Illustration

hello friends, here is my latest illustration on a vintage book page. The moon has a red hat, do you think I may be dreaming of Christmas already, lol? I added it to my Etsy shop, which I am slowly starting to stock up for the holidays.

Next weekend I will be bringing all my boxes upstairs, and start decorating. It is a long and tiring process, as they are stored in the basement and I'm on the top floor, yuck!

On a postive note though, once it is finished, I can sit back and create holiday themed art. It's time to start folks, if you expect to get it all done. It's only the first week of November, but time has a way of getting away from you, and before you know it, Christmas will be here.

thanks for reading!

I am ready for the holidays...just cleaned away the halloween stuff! You will have to share your decorations with us when you are all set up...and I agree, it can sneak up on you!

Love the newest piece!
I still have to clear away Halloween..which kind of makes me sad! And then there is Thanksgiving...which I feel gets short changed every year! So I will hold off the Christmas stuff awhile longer.
Ha!

Oh this is so cute! Good luck with the decorating. I have two flights of steps to climb (after crawling into the crawl space in the basement to haul out all the boxes).

Oh Gosh....too freaky!! We are TOTALLY on the same wave length for art recently. I just did a little girl with striped socks (as you know I LOVE striped socks), hanging from a Christmas moon. Too weird but fun. :)

I have to say, though, yours is FAR MORE adorable than mine. Seriously. I love how light and whimiscal yours it.

Hugs to you.

Hi Pink this is really cute. It is very much like the sketch that Sophia posted today, I guess great minds think alike huh?

I know, Betty. Freaked me out too. I was trying to do a spin off of the girl on a hill looking up at the stars that I did last year. I about fell off my couch when I saw you did something similar. :) (she's in my etsy shop)

Betty,
I love anything to do with the moon, so I think your moon with the Christmas hat is too cute.
I have been going through Christmas stuff for weeks. UGH! Getting ready for Holiday Open House at my consignment space. You are SO right ~ it will be here and gone before we know it.
Looking forward to receiving my etsy purchase.
Happy Friday!
